Matt Haigh is a
freelance designer living and working in the UK.
After completing a BTEC in art and design at Oxford Brookes University
in 2000 he studied graphic design at the University
of Brighton, graduating in 2004. He was then offered a scholarship to
go to Fabrica, The United Colors
of Bennetton’s communication research centre in Northern Italy.
There, he worked on a range
of editorial, advertising, illustration and design projects for a varity
of non- profitable organisations as well as working as a designer
for Colors Magazine.
After returning to the UK he spent two and a half years as a designer
at Wolff Olins, working on a
wide variety of branding
and design projects, before moving to live and work Melbourne
in 2008, returning in 2009.
His work has been exhibited as part of the Catalyst exhibition in the
Lisbon Biennale and as part of the Les Yeux Ouvers exhibition in The
Pompidou Centre in Paris. You can also see his work in Fully Booked,
Cover Art and Design for Books, and Kelvin, Colour Today, both published
by Gestalten.
